Here's another Firefox-type contributive scene.
Google has come out with a pretty usable sidebar to collect all the various files on your computer, as well as over the web, in a format you can easily find them in.
More important is how they are enabling contribution to their product. So we can add on plug-ins which increase the various capabilities of the product, which forms incredible community support historically (Apple used this format for years with their OS and Firefox/Mozilla is using this currently to even better use).
