Been fooling around with various effforts to eradicate blog spam (people who are leaches and contribute nothing to the blog - just a link to another site). Most of the blogs I have have comments turned to only members of the blog (which have none currently, save I) and also require verification, such that people have to type in a graphic, so new comments can't be auto-added.
Let us all hope that these solve the scene. I blog so others can contribute to the idea, not push their own money making scheme...
update Blog spam stopped when I put in verification, so I'll be turning comments back on to anybody for any of my blogs as I can get around to it.
